And of course in the film the woman would be played by Gillian! That would certainly be Bizarro! DD did say they could be in a film together but it would be very difficult for people to see them as anyone else.

If we don't think DD and NL could play great friends then how about a 'have to get along to survive' type of scenario? I would love to see them in a rugged, out in the wilderness setting. Maybe they are part of a group and early on the two of them hate each other but later on they end up being to only two survivors left and they have to work together to survive? Or am I coming too close to what happened in Tuguska/Terma? We all like those episodes don't we? :-) I want more of that!

It would certainly be a great acting challenge for both of them if they did play two nice guys and who were best friends and had to be convincing enough so that we didn't see them as enemies Mulder and Krycek.
