While it is, as you say, "her life", GA's life isn't the only one involved here. . .there's also her eight-year-old daughter, Piper, who's already been through her parent's divorce. Hopefully GA will take her time and get some pre-marital counseling before marrying this guy, to make sure she knows what she's getting herself -- and her daughter -- into. There have been a lot of studies done recently showing that it's not so much an *initial* divorce that hurts kids as being raised in an environment where there's a pattern of repeated marriage-divorce-remarriage-and-another divorce. . .because every time the kid gets to know and trust one his/her stepparents, there's another break-up and then somebody new is brought into the kid's life and they have to start adjusting all over again.
I will say, however, that GA does seem to take her time between marriages. Unlike some celebs (Jennifer Lopez, for example) she's not getting married/divorced/remarried within a two-year time period. And there are certainly many people who have *one* marriage that doesn't work out, then go on to have a happy, long-lasting second marriage. So hopefully she learned some things about herself and what she wants out of life during her years as a single mother and is ready to really commit herself to this marriage and make it work. I wish them all the best!!
