And what about Mulder? Or Krycek? Whenever a man is brutalized on the show (and there does seem to be a lot of that for both males and females) it doesn't illicit nearly as strong a reaction as when a women, esp. Scully is in a helpess situiation.

It was kind of disturbing to see poor Scully helpless but as you said, she was very vocal to her captors and did what she could. I thnk some fans have to face the fact that XF is always going to have scenes with the characters in great danger and bad situations.

I think now it's Doggett's turn though!
