Subject: But Scully says, "It's a "him"?? That thing in my back is a "him?!"
In reply to: detoured 's message, "Scully's treatment by 1013 in 'Roadrunners'" on 01:23:17 11/28/00 Tue

Why would VG have her say those lines if Scully didn't feel it was kindred to sexual rape? It was rape in the sense that it was unwanted entry into her body, albeit in her back and not sexual. But if we weren't to think it was an analog to sexual rape, why did she say that? What difference would gender make at all in this slug, be it male, female or neither? So its suspicious that we *are* to think that, I think.

First watching I never even thought of rape in those scenes just the damsel in distress thing, and couldn't have been more surprised when I began reading posts furious with the analogy to rape, and even bondage. So I watched it again and that's when I picked up on her lines of "It's a him? That thing in my back is a him?!" And she emphasized "him". Very strange indeed.
