Scully did shoot him in season 3 remember? I think if she was certain that he was under the influence of something she would shoot him. It would take a lot though.

I agree it was a great ep for the MSR. One of their best disagreements! And I agree on the trust issue. Wasn't it in the Pilot be begged him, 'You have to trust me?'.

This was also the first episode with something that might be 'alien' buried in the ice. Amazing what came of that isn't it!
