Subject: i can't help think
In reply to: detoured 's message, ""Scully here is a medical doctor"" on 23:54:26 11/16/99 Tue

that scully is a little wasted in her xf career. i mean, i know this is sort of covered in the show, what with her father and her doubts about working in the fbi, and her sometimes getting irratated with all her autopsies that mulder makes her do, but i don't feel that she gets to use her full expertise in the job. i can see the disagreements to my opinion, it's still an extremely varied job (unsuprisingly!) but its so different from what you imagine a doctor to be doing. i guess i usually think this when mulder tends to ditch her or mess her about. do you think personal interest is the only thing keeping her in the job, or is there really more to it then that?
something to think about (for me anyway!, but any opinions!.............)
cvl :)
