He questioned, taking a step back but remaining close to her - his arms still securely around her waist as he leaned down to pick up her bookbag and sling it over his shoulder, gazing down at her questioningly. He figured his parents were starting to get suspicious about where he was always running off to but he had yet to tell them about all the time he had been spending with her - he didn't want to get their parents going.

As they strolled, she leaned gently against his side and divided her attention between gazing up at him and leading the way. "How are you?"
