He tried not to work too late these days... it was good to see Dre before he went to bed and it was always good to spend quality time with her. He also found himself spending less and less time at his own apartment and more time at hers and Kenzi's. It had a more homely feel to it, he felt more at home at her place than he did his own place.

  • Kenzi was out of town for the next two weeks, one for her vacation with Kevin and the next week for some business thing she had to attend so Keisha got especially lonely when he was gone. "Want me to save you a plate from dinner if we don't eat before you leave? Your gonna come home for a bit right?" She pursed her lips, her brow furrowed. "or when we leave here we could just go grab a bite to eat and then you can drop me off at home before you go off to the office." It was weird how she just called where she was with him 'home'.
