She keeps a toothbrush at my place
As if I had the extra space
She steals my clothes to wear to work
I know -- her hairs are on my shirts

There was nothing that he liked less than being confined to a lecture hall on a beautiful Friday afternoon. His class was almost over though, and then he could get himself organized and get out of there - he wasn't sure where he wanted to go, or what he wanted to do, but he was pretty sure it didn't involve button-up shirts and ten-pound textbooks. Perched on the edge of his desk, he was pretending to read a memo distributed by administration - something about the summer term - as his class finished up an inclass assignment and he daydreamed about the great outdoors and shorts and a tee-shirt. A student handed in her paper and he was more than happy to engage in a quiet conversation with her - interested in any sort of distraction - but she was soon gone and he was back to being bored. For the last few minutes, he dropped onto the edge of the chair behind the desk there and fidgetted with some folders and such, and finally, none too soon, he was giving everyone their ten-minutes-left warning. Less than fifteen minutes later, he was standing around chatting with the last of his 'kids' - more about life in general than anything school-related. He didn't mind this hanging around - he was a social person, loved interacting with his students - it was just the waiting around and being bored, and monotonous lecturing that got to him sometimes...
