Author: Aiden
Subject: His gut twisted when he followed her gaze out to the other man waiting there, and he fell silent for a long very noticable moment. Clearing his throat, he nodded just slightly - he had sworn to himself he wasn't going to let another girl mess him up like Leah had, and supposed he was better off with this happening now before he got even more attached to her. As it was, he was upset enough that something seemed to have tainted their friendship... "Guess so."

With that done with she headed back into the room, her brow furrowed as she walked over to him once again, pausing only briefly to set down her bag . She settled on leaning agaist her desk, a good professional distance between them. "Whats wrong?" She questioned, her arms crossed under her chest and her eyes obviously concerned. No matter how much he hurt her, she still cared about him and didn't want him upset, it bothered her. She definately didn't think she was being cold to him, and thus couldn't understand why he was seemingly so out of sorts. (NT) -- Keila, Thu, Oct 07 2004, 12:46am PDT
