"Malcolm in the Middle" definitely was not run of the mill. Did you know that the guy who created it used to be an actor on "Little House on the Prairie."? He played Mary Ingall's husband, Adam.

Hope you can keep seeing the subsequent seasons of that and Arrested Development,KMom.
Hey, I've been meaning to ask you, what do you know about a Canadian sitcom called "Corner Gas?" Did you ever watch that? I saw a few episodes awhile back. It wasn't great but kind of appealing in a certain way.

I never was a huge "Cheers" fan but have seen a few episodes. I'll tell you I still remember the funniest joke they ever had. I think I saw it used as a clip on an Emmy broadcast one year.
Diane is talking to Sam and says something about how some of his behavior "makes me blanch." She goes on talking for awhile and then asks Sam if he understands what she is trying to say to him. Sam says 'I understood all of it up until you changed your name to Blanche.'
:-D
