Subject: Shows set in Texas

I watched two episodes of the series "Chase", mainly to see two actors from Prison Break who were on it. I didn't realize it was set in Houston. IG, how come this wasn't on your list of shows to try?
Just wondered. It's not all that great but at least it's not set on the coasts. Another non coastal series is The Middle, hence the name.

Also, in one episode of Chase I watched people were bashing Neil Diamond's song "Sweet Caroline". Does the Houston area have something against that song, or what?
I seemed to be missing some sort of inside joke.
