At the lake, our yards are just the opposite of living in town. The side facing the road is the back yard while the lake side is the front. It takes a bit of getting used to. Since it's a royal pain to drag docks and boat lifts to the back yard (they are on wheels) we just pull them out and park them off on the sides of the front yard.

We have a great time with the bonfires. Nobody has to drive anywhere so we can have a fun time with our favorite beverages and watch the stars, boats, fire, etc. I've sat out by our firepit well into the night. Good thing I can sleep in if I feel like it.
