Subject: My new life as a TV star

Have I told everybody here that I've been appearing on our local TV newscasts a lot lately?

The newspaper I work for recently entered into a "partnership" with one of the TV stations in this area, which means reporters from the paper go on the broadcasts and discuss their stories. Theoretically, a different reporter does this everyday, but it seems to be me more than anybody else.

I just find this. . .weird. I am the oldest of the reporters by quite a number of years and I also have a slight speech defect, which can sometimes make me a bit difficult to understand. So I would think I'd be the one they'd want on TV the least.

But apparently they really like the way I come across. (????)
