I think the S6 rumor was just that...a rumor. JW is banking on movies of the week to continue his so-called story...or a spin-off in the future. I am going out on a limb, in my prediction making way, and saying...unless there's a ratings surge for Angel before the finale this is the end of JW.

Serenity would have to rock the box office to save him...and I don't think it will.

CC, on the other hand, is going to be doing another X-Files movie...according to David Duchovony who is out and about spreading the word. CC made his fans happy in the end and JW sold out his fans and that will be the difference. The B/A people won't watch JW's future shows because these are people who completely ignore the writing...JW needs the people who are passionate about writing...and he's driven a lot of us away.

You can't tell me you were surprised by the Wes/Fred kissage and then tragedy cliche...recently! This kind of thing is another sign that the Jossinator is played out...hopefully with rest he will come back...but I don't know if he can do anything about the lack of balls he demonstrated in selling out S/B.

He hopes to be able to do a Buffy movie one day...but, I think, that too probably depends on the success of Serenity.

I am glad you enjoyed the FIREFLY DVD. It is good, I think, because it is in the right order and JW completes his arc...having Simon and Summer become members of the crew. They really should have gone with the original pilot...it would have brought in the right audience.

Anyway...sorry to show up and be all grumpy...but not a fan of JW anymore...specifically because he DOES have more talent than most but he lacks good decision making skills.
