I gotta say Alias season three didn't do it for me the way 1 & 2 did. I thought the resolution to Sydney's missing 2 years was lame, then she just seemed to react to what others on the show did, we waited forever for Lauren to be exposed, then chased her around, Sloane has a hidden agenda (big surprise there), they added an aunty & half-sister to fill in for Syd's Mom's absence.

I used to think Syd's non-spy life was silly in S1 & 2 but now I miss it. She's all spy no with no life of her own. I miss Irina and wish they could get her back on, Katya doesn't cut it. I like how they can just expand Syd's family for new characters, maybe next year they can give her a brother. The plot is getting so complex that I've lost track. The show often "cheats" too (we thought Lauren was OK, we thought Sloane's wife was kidnapped, etc.). My bet is Rimbaldi himself will make an appearence but this may not be until the show's climax.

The season finale had another girl vs. girl battle royal but Syd lost this one. Needed Vaughn to save her. Could Lauren come back? The body fell into some hole, if evil Frannie could survive.... Now, what is the secret Jack didn't want her to know? Sounds like more Project Christmas stuff. Syd's whole life has been a huge experiment? Jack is part of the quest to figure out Rimbaldi? Or some new twist? Shouldn't the twist be revealed as the cliffhanger instead of telling us there's a twist at the beginning of next season? And that's a long way off, I hear.
