I almost always put the little sunglasses-wearing-smiley-face by my post because, IMHO, it looks like the smiley guy is going to the beach and thus fits with my screen name of "Islandgirl". I didn't mean to imply I was happy about the idea of sci-fi shows being on the wane, because I'm definitely NOT.
As the only family in the free world (at least according to our kids) without cable, my viewing options are limited to network offerinngs. So I haven't seen Jeremiah. If the reality craze keeps upon the networks, I may eventually have to given in and get cable in order to watch decent scripted dramas and sitcoms.
My two favorite subgenres of TV shows are: 1.) sci-fi and 2.) shows that have a combination of mystery, romance and humor (i.e. "Remington Steele", "Moonlighting", etc.). . .so you can probably see why XF, which combined all these elements, was my fave TV show ever.
