Subject: Millenium Season 1 on DVD

Now I watched the first half of S1 of Millenium & found it was the same thing over & over. I tuned out. Then I hear the latter half of Season 1 & season 2 were fantastic (then season 3 went into the crapper due to Fox meddling). I missed reruns on FX as I didn't get it until later. Was Mill. that good? Any opinions? I thought Lance Henderickson did a terrific job, the on going plot was rather vague. Did this become clear or continue in the XF tradition of stopping short of real answers?
