Subject: "Desperate" situation for Alias fans??

Okay, let me say upfront that I've never watched a complete episode of "Alias" or "Desperate Housewives", so this post in no way is based on which one is a "better" program in terms of quality. However, I do know that ABC's original plan was to air "DH" through the end of January and then bring back "Alias" in February.
Given that "DH" is doing *MUCH* better in the ratings than "Alias" ever did, do you really think they''ll go ahead with this plan??
