Subject: I watched it again on Saturday night

The scene where the kid is in the wood looking for his dog, I was scared to death that he was going to find the dog dead or something. I thought of how much you would hate that. I think maybe the lab made friends with the "monster" in the woods. I DON'T think whatever they heard making those noises was simply a polar bear. And speaking of a polar bear, WHAT?

The Asian couple confuses me. First the man (Agent Baker from 24) tells his wife that they have to stick together and keep away from everyone else, but then he's going around offering food to everyone. Also, where did he get all those little cups to put the food in? Anyway, I thought maybe he was testing the food to make sure it wasn't poisonous before he and his wife ate it. I liked that in the second episode the two of them weren't given subtitles. It made it more mysterious.

I like that Kate ended up being the prisoner. When I re-watched the two hour version on Saturday, I noticed the first time we saw her she was walking out of the woods, rubbing her wrists. It was a nice touch after knowing she'd recently ditched her handcuffs.

I'm really glad I decided to start watching this. So far I haven't been let down.
