I agree with your take on TV access IG. But I think it is a good thing. I prefer watching shows on DVD. Get more out of it as you watch when you want to watch - not rushing to get dinner and dishes out of the way and kids wandering around talking LOUDLY....

My youngest son and I had a terrible cold last week. We spent a couple of days cuddled up in bed watching season one of Bones. We enjoyed it. I realize how much I had missed even in the eps I did catch on prime time TV. Cant wait to watch season two.

Now here is the hard part - I found season one on sale for $20. Season two is $45. That is too expensive for me. I found a nearby box store that has a selection of boxed sets for $20 - but most are season ones. It is going to get costly if you want the whole series. It is easy to justify $20 as we enjoyed it and then it was lent out. What I am hoping is the rental places get on this and start getting more series in for rent. Usually they only have the first season and the most recent season on the shelves. I would like to see a business offering many shows and the whole series.

I still refuse to get cable.
