Sounds like a fantastic show BDM! I've heard the name Dave Gruber before but don't know where.
I loved Hightlights mag as a kid. Hee hee. When I was in a doctor's office a couple of weeks ago I read a couple of those there in the waiting room. They had a nice article about Jackie Robinson in one.

That's nice that they had some opening act stuff as well as the movie. Sounds like a jam packed show.

That movie sounds bizarre! Where do they find these "gems"? The two titles don't even seem to go together.
I wouldn't mind the political stuff. It never bothered me before. I know Mary Jo was a huge Al Gore fan and Mike is a Republican. Oh wait, Mike wasn't there. Maybe that's why they've split into two groups. ;)
"Public Opton", lol. I've got to start watching some of my Cinematic Titanic DVDs.

Sounds like a blast. Was it a huge turnout? If the live show is doing well hopefully they'll come around my way again. I'm kicking myself for missing it as I read your post.

Yeah I missed some good rock shows too. I would have liked to have seen ELO in their heyday when they did their spaceship tour. And I actually had advanced tickets for several years at a ticket agency for Talking Heads but they broke up before I ever got to use them. I traded them for Depeche Mode.

Good report, thanks!
