You watch more TV than I do but, as my brother once pointed out, the Amish probably watch more TV than I do!!

I'm just not a big TV watcher; I'd rather read, talk to family or friends (in person or on the phone) or mess around on the computer. Plus, with kids, grandkids, husband, cats, church involvement and a full-time job, I don't have a lot of free time.

The weird thing is, though, I rarely just "watch" a show. If I'm bothering to watch, I'm also going to message boards to "talk" about the show, reading (and sometimes writing) fanfic related to it, etc. So I keep my viewing to a minimum, because for every hour I spend actually sitting in front of the TV watching a show, I'm probably spending at least twice that much time on the computer doing something else related to the show.

Anyway, I got a kick out of your comment about:

"CSI:NY"--I think this has gotten consistently better through the years.
A hit? Of course, it's CSI! I'm surprised that they haven't added more franchises yet.
Where's "CSI:Des Moines"?

LOL!! I really wish they'd do a Texas city like "CSI:San Antonio". Apparently at one time they were seriously considering "CSI:New Orleans" (which isn't Texas, but is at least in the vicinity) but decided against it.

I've heard some people say there are really five, rather than three, CSI shows, because they consider "NCIS" to be "CSI:the Navy" and "Numb3rs" to be "CSI:the math lab".

The only one I watch on a regular basis is "CSI:NY." I watch that one for a couple of reasons. One is that I really like Gary Sinise. The other is that the crimes seem more realistic. A lot of the murders on CSI:NY are done for financial reasons and the killers are almost always adults. I got fed up with the original (Vegas) CSI because it seemed that *every* case had some sort of bizarre sexual angle to it and/or the killer was a kid. And I never warmed up to the Miami version; the only Miami eps I've watched have been the ones that are crossovers with the other CSI shows.
