But when ER first came on it was one of the best TV dramas I'd ever seen. It truly was must see TV for my family for years. It's too bad they didn't know when to hang it up as it's been awful for years now. But in its hey day you'd have been hard pressed to find a better TV show. I obviously can't compare to St. Elsewhere since I didn't see it, but if you say it's superior I might have to check and see if it's on DVD.
