Well, your culture does come our way on occassion. That's how we have the cliched "G'day, mate" image of Aussies from Crocadile Dundee, Steve Irwin, Foster's Beer and Outback Steakhouse. And all your actors seem to come over here and make it big in Hollywood. That new movie Australia is getting heavy promotion so it could be a hit and get you some more tourism.

American Indians (or Native Americans) are US citizens. If they choose to stay with their tribes, that can be housed & educated on the gov.t's bill (although they get substandard stuff on most counts). Many Native Americans would prefer not to be US citizens, one activist declared the Lakota Nation to be independent of the US (they live in South Dakota & Nebraska which I've give them). In America, African-American will always be THE minority. Indians are less than 5% of the population, Hispanics are now #2 to whites but blacks are the "different ones." The most vocal about injustice and the need climb up the social ladder. Obama being president (fingers crossed) will be a big step but not the end of it.

American TV has remade plenty of foreign shows, many reality shows are borrowed from the UK. They will rip off anything. Could be worse, I just got back from Slovakia and they have very little home grown programs. They have local news & sports but dramas & comedies are all from the US, UK, Germany, etc. and dubbed into Slovak. So they only see TV from other countries.
