saw Sarah Jane Adventures Stardoe

Season 1 is out here on DVD, good stuff. A lighter side of the new DW universe. I'm glad K9 was kept to a minimum since he could basically shot all their problems away. The cast is very good, not so thrilled about Clyde but Maria & Luke are good. I heard Maria leaves in season 2, that's too bad. Maria's mum is annoying and shouldn't be in every single episode! Two Slitheen stories in such a short season? I think I was done with them after the thrid time they farted. Mr. Smith going bad was neat, didn't see that coming. Favorite story, Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane? Nice to see some of her back story fleshed out. More of that to come next season too I hear. Overall, fun stuff but so far neither spin off holds a candle to the parent show IMO.
