Only saw the pilot ep so far. And still no Torchwood for me either. BBC America is showing it but I don't get that channel. Not sure if Sarah Jane will play here.

Just finished season 3 of DW. Much improved over last year. I like them returning one major baddie a year, keep it simple. I liked that the Master actually conquered the world this time rather than blowing it. The actor playing him was a bit OTT but at least he wasn't all in black & twirling his mustache. Great build up to his revel with Derek Jacobi, I wish we could have seen him in a full story as the Master but I guess they wanted a man about Tennant's age. We got a reason why the Master is so bad (how is it the rest of the Time Lords didn't go crazy from seeing the vortex?). And the Doctor putting to rest the idea that they are brothers.

I liked Blink alot, a way better Doctor-lite ep than last year's Love and Monsters. I think Sally would make a great companion. Marta's family turned out to be much less annoying than Rose's. Human Nature/Family of Blood feels like a classic, never explored the Doctor's character so deeply before. But I did find it odd that a) The Doctor would hide in a place full of people who would be killed if he was found out & b) that the Doctor hides from anybody!!! He flew straight into a dalek fleet, why hide from these Family of Bllod losers? He defeated them easily enough at the end. But then we'd have no story so it had to be I guess. I wonder how the Ttianic hit inside the Tardis?
