Saw the pilot. The 2 bionic shows of the 70s were a part of my childhood, I think seeing them now showed them to be really corny. Although Lindsay Wagner somehow gave a convincing performance or just played herself & happens to have a good personality. The Bionic Woman predates most of the action hero woman shows of the 90s/2000s like Buffy, Xena, Alias, etc. (Emma Peel was the first however).
The new show was OK. Aren't bionics dated? No slo-mo but some of the CGI could be better. Again with the government conspiracy type plot. Again with a rival was her equal. They convienently skip the training process by saying the bionics use to already programed into her brain to act on it's own. So she's busting heads right off. She gets an ear & eye done as opposed to just an ear in the original (Steve Austin had the eye). She's saddled with a teen sister who's a total brat. This could be good if developed right or could be total crap. I might watch for awhile but not that exciting yet.
