My hubby and I just wanted to "veg" and watch TV and this was what we landed on. It was okay. I do like the fact that the cases on "Numb3rs" aren't as graphic as those on the various CSI shows and NCIS.
But the reason this show really isn't "must see" for me remains the same. . .the female characters get about two lines of dialogue per episode each. The show is basically a throwback to 1960s TV like "Bonanza" and "Hawaii 5-0" where all the major characters are men and women are relegated to minor supporting characters or occasional guest stars.
I'm sure there is an audience for that sort of thing, but I prefer show where there's at least one woman among the main characters; like XF with Scully, NCIS with both Ziva and Abby or CSI:NY with both Stella and Lindsey.
