Ever since the show premiered, there's been a lot of debate about whether or not it makes sense to show "Friday Night Lights" on Friday nights. The opposing sides are as follows:
1.) When a show has a day in the title (i.e. "Saturday Night Live" or "The Sunday Mystery Movie") people naturally assume that it airs on the night mentioned in the title and are confused if it's on on another night.
2.) The people most likely to watch the show are quite likely to be at ACTUAL high school football games on Friday nights, not home watching TV.
