I would give the hubby an IOU on the "Husbands must get their own way" band wagon and complete the Remmington Steele Series set. I never had a problem with the Murphy guy either. You can't have everyone all speaky clean and do gooderish in a show. Too boring.

It is nice of you to try and even up the present giving by making sure that one party does not get more pleasure out of the gifts than another, but in my experience [maybe Texan husbands are more obliging and considerate than ours] husbands get more pleasure out of life every other day of the year than the wives, so I wouldn't be feeling guilty about having an extra 12 eps more enjoyment of a possible 24 eps worth of DVD watching on one day of the year. Hence my big spending on myself this Christmas rather than the usual scrimping on myself so that others can have more. Yes I only have a couple more weeks to fullfill my New Years resolution of being more selfish. So I decided this year to buy my own presents as it is too much hassle trying to make a wish list that noone adheres to anyway. Now all I have to do is find someone to wrap them up just so I can have something to open on the day.
