Subject: Doctor Who news

any Doctor Who fans or people with kids who like a bit of clean adventure. Keep your eyes out for Sarah Jane Adventures. It's a DW spinoff and really really good. We have all enjoyed it and I hear it is going to Canada and the US. Maybe around Christmas or next yr. It is coming here next yr too but I have all the eps on DVD from the net. Apparently the DVDs are out in the UK now too.

My friend has started a Dr Who club at my school where they watch eps of the old G rated classic series at lunch time. He showed them the pilot of SJA and they loved it. Given the choice to watch DW or SJA, they all voted for SJA. {I think it's PG rated but as we don't really know yet, he is showing it anyway , LOL] The kids are really enthralled. I love watching them get scared but they keep coming back for more. It's the good old fashioned scariness from when we were scared kids watching the old Doctor Who eps. No real violence or gore or swearing etc. Good clean fun and adventure.

The other thing is that Torchwood is getting made kid friendly. They are apparently cutting out all the adult scenes and swearing. I hope that is the case because my kids like TW but there are just some eps that I can't let them watch due to the full-on adult themes and language.

So if anyone is interested, check out SJA and/or the Kid friendly Torchwood when you get them.

STardoe
