Subject: Lost finale (spoilers!!)

You know, I thought from last year's finale that Locke was the one in the coffin. This was a great finale but where do they go from here? Things are coming together but still more questions piled on top. Some questions and observations:

Why is Jack's dad doing Jacob's job? Is Claire dead? Why would she abandon Aaron?

How is Locke going to lead the Others? Will he finally get some answers? Will we see the Temple? How is it that Other guy who visited Locke as a kid not aged at all?

Where did the island go? Perhaps it's in the Atlantic now. That wheel Ben turned and the time travel portal must be linked with the hatch's magnetic field and the reason the island is so important.

What did Sawyer say to Kate and what is Kate doing for him back home? Someone on youtube turned up the sound on Sawyer's whispher and he seemed to be talking about his daughter.

Who's going to be in charge of the flight 815 survivors now? How many are left at this point? Many were killed at the Others' town and on the boat. What power struggle is coming?

Those 3 from the boat have a lot more to reveal. The woman said something about trying to find where she was born so I assume it was on the island. She is very interested in Dharma stuff.

How are Jack and the rest going to get back to the island? What does Sun want to do with Widmore? Does Desmond have to go back too? Will bringing Locke's body back there make him come alive again? How did Locke leave the island if he's convinced it's his destiny to be there?

How long will it take to get back? With so many of the main cast now off the island, I'd guess soon since those left behind aren't as interesting. Just Sawyer, Juliet, hopefully Jin and the new people. I read in an interview that Michael is dead but that never stopped anyone from being on the show again. I was sad to see Rousseau and Alex go as I thought they had more to do. An interview promised a Rousseau flashback next season.

They are dragging it out but I still like it. Just 2 more seasons to go and both will be short ones of about 16 eps a piece.
