Subject: anyone remember Land of the Lost?

Just watched all 3 seasons on DVD. I was so into this show as a kid & it was fun to take it in again. Yes, very dated & poorly acted & bad FX but still has a certain charm that didn't make it an embarrassment for me. Some real sophisticated sci-fi ideas that other kid shows wouldn't go anywhere near. Also, the threat (never realized of course) that the Marshall family could be eaten by dinosaurs or killed by the Sleestaks made it much scarier than other kid shows as well. Probably wouldn't allow it on now.

Season 3 isn't worth seeing as they replace the dad with Uncle jack who happens to fall into the same time rift just as dad gets out. Wesley Eure as the son Will is a huge ham who also sang the theme song (remember theme songs that explained what the show was about?). He made a guitar out of bamboo & sang songs with echo in the same lame-o season 3.
