Yes, I remember this show. Not one of my very favorites, but I usually caught it when I could. Don't remember the whole "Uncle Jack subs for Dad" storyline; guess I'd outgrown it by then.
I LOVED TV theme songs!! I really hate the fact that hardly any TV shows have them any more. There were a few shows ("Moonlighting" is one example) where I actually liked the theme song more than I liked the show itself.
