Subject: My TV conflicts for this season

As frequently seems to happen to me, the only two new shows I'd like to watch are coming on at the same time as the only two shows I currently watch!
I watch "NCIS" at 7 p.m. on Tuesday on CBS. That's also when FOX's "Standoff" is coming on. "Standoff" is about a team of male-and-female FBI agents. The last time I watched a FOX show about a team of male-and-female FBI agents, it turned out to be pretty good. However, NCIS has my loyalty. And I'm usually not even home this early on Tuesdays anyway, so I have to record NCIS, which means that's the only show I can "watch" during that timeslot.
My other conflict is at 9 p.m. on Wednesdays. My current show there is "CSI:NY" while the new show I'd like to watch is "Kidnapped" on NBC. I want to watch "Kidnapped" mainly because it has Timothy Hutton. Prior to my discover of David Duchovny, Timothy Hutton was my biggest celebrity crush ever and I haven't seen him in anything in years. I am usually home by this time on Wednesday so, theoretically, I should be able to watch one/record one with these two shows.
