I totally agree with all of your opinion of the show.The loneliness overkill and lack of setting variety etc. I actually liked the K9 spinoff from the 80s. It was, after all , a kids' show and perhaps adults may have been the reason it was canned. I am hoping adults won't be quick to jump on this new show before the children of the world get to have their say.

I actually think Torchwood would be a good show but I really think DW is not the place to have ship arcs etc Good alien stories is what they should have. I hope you get to see Lis, BDM. Let me know if you do. I so sometimes envy people who aren't as isolated as I.
