Quincy, Columbo, McCleod [McCloud?], McMillan & Wife....to go right back. Then of course there was Harry O, Kojack,Remmington Steele :-), Scarecrow and Mrs King, and how can we leave out Charlie's Angels?????? I also used to love Most Wanted with Robert Stack as well as Murder She Wrote.I love Walker Texas Ranger. I really like CSI [original] and Crossing Jordan at the moment. Just recently watched a Las Vegas/Jordan crossover which was good.

Some of our own were Homicide, Division 4, Matlock Police. but I find that our Aussie shows lately have been revamped and have become more sickening and gruesome in the crimes that are committed. They axed great shows like Water Rats and Stingers and sickened up Blue Heelers just to try and keep viewers who were switching over to CSI et al. Heelers is about to over take Homicide as the longest running TV drama. I think they only renewed it this yr just so they could have that honour. Really, I think they should have laid it to rest a few yrs ago. It's about to have its 500th ep this yr. 100 too many if you ask me.

I currently watch an amazing UK show called Inspector Lynley Myteries. And of course there is Inspector Frost and Miss Marple and a whole stack of other in that vein. And of course on SBS I watch Inspector Rex and there's a copy cat Italian show with a boarder collie instead of the german shepherd. Also a german show about two young good looking detectives. Can't remember the name of it. Hans and Fritz or something like that.
