Subject: Anybody watch "Stargate"?

Anybody here watch "Stargate?" (The original series with Richard Dean Anderson, not the spinoff set in Atlantis.) My husband and son have caught an occasional episode on late-night TV, so they decided to use some of their Christmas SS to buy the first season so they could watch from the beginning and figure out everything that was going on.
I'm watching some of the eps with them and enjoying it pretty well. In stark contrast to most other shows, everybody here seems to have started off married. Except their wives are all in. . .other Solar Systems or something, as best I can figure out.
Does anybody here know if any of these men ever get to reunite with their wives? (You're not going to spoil things for me. Honestly. I'm not going to watch ten seasons of the show to figure this out. I like it okay, but not that much. Just a bit curious about the shipper angle, being me.)
