Subject: Versatile actors

Although I'm not a huge fan of either of them, it struck me recently that Thomas Gibson and Christopher Gorham msut be two of the most versatile actors working today. Thomas Gibson was "Greg" on "Dharma and Greg" during the 1990s and now is some sort of investigator or agent on "Criminal Minds". Christopher Gorham was "Jake" on "Jake 2.0" and then played a doctor on "Medical Investigation" and is now on the sitcom "Out of "Practice".
So both these men have had successes with both dramatic roles and comedy roles which, when you think about it, is relatively unusual. After all, you don't see the cast members of "Friends" or "Seinfeld" joining one of the "CSI" shows and you don't seen Mitch Pileggi and Robert Patrick starring in "Two and a Half Men."
