Subject: What are you hoping to see in season finales?

Is there anything you're hoping to see in the season finales of your favorite shows? Anything you're hoping *doesn't* happen?
I don't really watch a lot of shows on a regular basis, but here's what I'd like to see (or not see) on some of them:
1.) "NCIS" — I do NOT want to see another character death! They ended last season with Kate's death. I want all the regular cast members alive at the end of this season.
2.) "CSI:NY" — I'd like to see *one* of the "ships" on this show -- either Mac/Stella or Danny/Lindsey -- progress in some way. Okay, being me, I'd like to see a marriage proposal from *both* men to their partners in UST, but I know that ain't gonna happen! I'd settle for just ONE of the couples to kiss! Given that this is a "double ship show" it's within the realm of possiblities that one of the ships could actually progress.
3.)"Cold Case" — I'd like to see Lily and company investigate a case which requires them to travel away from the East Coast. I like this show, but the silliest and least realistic aspect of it is EVERYBODY involved in EVERY murder they investigate -- even for crimes that happened 30, 40 or 50 years ago -- is still alive and living in the Philadelphia area (or, at the furthest, in New Jersey or New York). I'd like to see them investigate a case where one of the main suspects has moved to Texas or Hawaii or something like that. In reality, everybody who lived in Philadelphia during the 1960s and 70s is NOT still there!
