Subject: Lost finale (spoilers!!)

Sorry CW missed it. I liked it but of course it leaves almost everyone in a bind & created more questions than answers.

My thoughts & questions:

I think the Others are not with the Dharma Group or perhaps former members of such. The Hatch Guy with Desmond (Calvin who taught Sayid to torture) called them Hostiles. Henry calls his people the Good Guys. Could the Others really be good? Maybe they are holding back whatever kind of evil exists on the island. They just go too far in obtaining their ends.

Looks like the Hatch is done for although I'm sure there are many others out there. So the magnetic wave effect brought the plane down. That still doesn't explain how the plane lost contact with the ground & had to turn around or how no one was seriously injured in the crash. Will Locke, Eko & Desmond make it out of there OK? What was it that the failsafe key did? Was the magnetic force jettisoned into the atmosphere?

I hope Desmond isn't dead, he's interesting if a bit odd. I would think he wouldn't go along with Locke having seen what happens when you don't hit the button. And didn't he think the outside was contaiminated at the beginning of the season? He knew it wasn't in the flashbacks. Nice looking sailboat for one that's been out for 3-4 years.

Are there other magnetic forces or worse in other hatches?

What was that giant statue? Aliens or ancient civilizations? Maybe that's what the Others fight & what causes the things the Dharma people are there for.

The camp seen by Michael & Sayid is a fake, used to fool the Others' enemies.

Michael & Walt-will they get out? I thought they were in some kind of world unto themselves. A bubble with only one exit. That's why no one who gets there ever leaves.

I bet Jack, Kate & Sawyer are to be indoctrinated into the Others. Is Henry their leader? Or are we yet to meet "He"?

I liked this season just fine, some thought it not as good as one. The show needed to move on, S1 covered the whole survival on the island stuff. I liked all the weird hatch stuff. The Tallies weren't so good, looks like Eko is the only major one left & he's cool. Some of the regulars from S1 did alot less this season: Charlie, Sayid, Clarie especially. Overall, still liking it & still hooked. Just hope they keep it up.
