I always get a kick out of the fact that one of the reasons CC cast DD as Mulder was that he wanted an actor who was "kind of geeky" rather than a sex symbol!! DD managed to, very effectively, be both. It also shows that men don't have a clue as to the sex appeal of other men. No woman would have EVER described DD as lacking in sex appeal!
Didn't CSI start out as a Friday night show, too? I do think NUMBE3RS has a better chance of doing reasonably well in a Friday night timeslot than the glitzy "dr. vegas" did.
