is that it's set in California. Why the &$#@% do 95% of all the TV shows in America have to be set on either the East Coast or the West Coast???
There *ARE* other places, including other large cities with FBI field offices. Why not set the show in Detroit or Houston or St. Louis or. . .well, any big city in America that is located in the heartland, rather than on the coasts??
If it was in Washington, D.C, at FBI headquarters, I probably wouldn't kibbitz. After all, that's where the FBI is headquartered and it can't be changed for fictional purposes. But if they're using a regional field office, why not one in a less overused locale?
