Subject: Be careful what you wish for. . .

Does anybody remember back when we first started these forums (or maybe it was even back at the old "official" forums where we all were before Detoured started this board) how we all wished that Chris Carter (or Frank Spotniz; or, really, anybody officially connected with the show) would drop by and "chat" with us once in awhile??
Well, the producer of "Numb3rs" does do that over on the official "Numb3rs" website. . .and it's not as much fun as it sounds. The producers are a husband-and-wife team by the name of Cheryl Heuton and Nick Falacci, but the wife is the one who visits the website. At first she was just visiting once in awhile, to give answers to specific questions that were titled with things like "Question for the Producers". Now she posts all the time and is always telling various fans when they're "wrong" about something we've speculated about. Of course, there's no arguing with her, because it's her show and she KNOWS whether or not we're right. . . but it kind of kills the fun of hanging out and chatting with other fans. So, if I decide to keep watching the show next fall, I think I'll look for a less-official site at which to "talk" about it.
