Subject: "Threshold" and "Fathoms" (new shows for next fall)

These shows both sound interesting, except. . .they also sound like the EXACT same show!!
Both are about divers, scientists, etc. investigating strange new underwater life forms. It's nice to see dramas that don't revolve around some aspect of either the legal or medical professions, but I think perhaps the networks have overestimated the "sea monster" demographic, as I doubt two shows based on this concept can flourish and they'll probably just cannibalize each other's audience.
I guess I'll check them both out and the commit to the one that offers the best shipper potential.
