Subject: You're mixing up two different female FBI agents

The agent I was referring to was a petite blonde named Terry Lake, portrayed by an actress named Sabrina Lloyd; she was shown in the opening credits and was referred to as Don Eppes (Rob Morrow's)partner. There was also a mention made of them having "briefly dated" when they were at Quantico together a decade earlier.
However, in one episode they had a guest star (tall, dark-haired woman; don't know the name of the actress) portraying an agent named Kim Hall. She was the one who Don had lived with and been engaged to.
So, yeah, it was kind of confusing that they showed two different women agents on "Numb3rs" during the first season and that *both* of them had a "romantic history" with Don. But, to put it in XF terms, Terry was more of the "Scully character" and Kim was more of the "Fowley character". Terry's the one who I thought we needed an explanation for as to her departure. And, no, she wasn't killed in the bank robbery. They showed her alive and well at the end of that episode and then just very briefly in the following episode. But she was completely missing from the season's final two eps, with no explanation as to what had happened to her and Don was treating Agent David Sinclair as if he was his partner.
