Their supervisor, the bald guy with glasses, appeared to be copying some of Mitch Pileggi's mannerisms.

Well the plot was okay but I'm just not crazy about the characters. The whole team seems to be on supermode to try to sound clever and witty all the time. The actors aren't very believeable as scientists. Plus I just didn't care about them. No one captured my attention for very long and I saw zero chemistry between the leads.

Well that's only my opinion. Your milage may vary. ;-) I'll stick to the awesome show on right after it, HOUSE.
