Hi Stardoe,

I think you got your shows mixed up. (That's okay, I'm always calling LAW and ORDER, L.A. LAW. Don't know why. I never watched L.A.LAW!)
The show with William Shatner as Denny Crane is THE PRACTICE. I agree he was fun in the role and has come a long way from Captain Kirk. He got an Emmy nomination for the part. The show has ended now and spun off into a show called BOSTON LEGAL which features Shatner and the Crane law firm and James Spader who started on THE PRACTICE. They started introducing the new show on the old one, mixing them together. I did'nt really care for all the new characters though plus I am full fed up with D. E. Kelly's leftist, inaccurate preaching that he started doing every week on THE PRACTICE so I'm not watching the new one.

LOST is so good! It looks like just about all of us former X-Files watchers are into this one (except Islandgirl. Islandgirl why aren't you watching LOST!?! ;-)).

I'll give you a rough synopsis. It deals with a group of survivors of a plane crash that has landed on an island, possibly somewhere around Figi, but we don't really know for sure. The plane took off from Australia so there's a number of Australia tie-ins. The show is rather X-Filey in tone because there's something verrrry strange about this island they're all on. Also, just about all of the characters have some mysterious background and lots of secrets that we learn about bit by bit each week. It's really a fun show to get into. I hope you do get it soon because, for one thing, I'd like to ask you if some of the Aussie accents are real! The main Aussie girl, who's preggers, I'm sure is using a real accent but there have been others I'm not so sure about.
