The premiere of "NUMB3RS" did really well in the ratings; it was sixth for the week that ended with this past Sunday. Reviews have been a bit more mixed. Almost everybody liked the family dynamics between Don, Charlie and their Dad, but a lot of critics pointed out that TV is already overloaded with procedural crime dramas and didn't really need another one.
It will be interesting to see how it fares when airing on Fridays. Obviously it won't do as well as it did on Sunday, because shows that air on Fridays and Saturdays never pack the ratings wallop of those that air Sunday through Thursday; however, if it can squeak into the top 30, that will probably make it the most-watched Friday night program.
